The book, a sturmundrag of thoughts,
starts with an analysis of Ludovico Ariosto’s
Orlando Furioso. An allegory of a modern
man who needs madness to survive himself. The human body is analysed as a meeting
point between the cosmos and the
unconscious through references to medieval
medicine and psychosomatic pains.
Its body is dissected, page by page, inside the mala voadora art space in Porto. The pages, and its content is floating in a black room as stars inside the open space. Meanwhile a plastic fabric is floating with the wind, somehow following the sounds of “Costellazioni Milano” a video sound installation based on the collection of plasters catalogated in Milano.
The book includes texts by Philipp Lange, Superfluo and Petr Hošek.
Edited by Linda Toivio.
