The artist book is a compendium to the Vergissmeinnicht exhibition (Berlin, 2021), but stands as an individual body of work. Printed on translucent paper unbounded, it tells the story of Ludovico Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso (1516), an allegory of a modern man who needs madness to survive himself. Through references to medieval medicine and psychosomatic pains, the human body is explored as a meeting point between the cosmos and the unconscious.
The book includes texts by Philipp Lange, Superfluo and Petr Hošek - Edited by Linda Toivio.
