A camping tent for two people. A shelter to lock in and protect themselves, made of a semi-transparent fabric that allows the eyes to violate intimacy and deny the very same protection. The boundaries between private space and public space are abolished.
Hand-sewn by Crocifissa, Siciliano’s Mother, this volatile refuge embodies the maternal womb and redefines what it means to simultaneously be in a space and in a non-space. Where there are no walls to stop the view, bodies melt with the landscape and vice versa.
